Eric Della Santa joined the firm in 2019 with a background in civil litigation. Before his current practice, Mr. Della Santa was an Associate Attorney at an insurance defense firm where he gained valuable experience handling the defense of lawsuits from start to finish. He was responsible for handling all aspects of litigation in state and federal court, most notably including taking and defending numerous depositions, significant law and motion practice including multiple successful dispositive motions and in-court oral argument, trial preparation, settlement negotiations, and arbitration.
EDUCATION & BACKGROUND
Mr. Della Santa received his law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School. During law school, Mr. Della Santa worked as a research assistant for a prominent professor of Environmental Law, and focused his summers on public sector work, including serving as a legal intern for the Securities and Exchange Commission, Atlanta Regional Office and the International Law Institute, African Centre for Legal Excellence. He also volunteered at the Mending Hearts Legal Clinic in Nashville, Tennessee. Mr. Della Santa received a BA majoring in Political Science and minoring in Philosophy from the University of California, San Diego.
