This Thursday, the Public Employment Relations Board (PERB) will hold oral arguments for only the fourth time in 20 years.

These will be combined oral arguments in four cases involving the University of California Regents and will address issues around Government Code section 3550.

Managing Partner Tim Yeung, a public sector labor law expert with years of experience with PERB, will be presenting the UC’s position on the four cases. To learn more about the specific legal questions being considered, see Tim’s analysis on his California PERB Blog.

More information can be found in PERB’s announcement here. The hearing will be conducted remotely; anyone interested in viewing it in real time may do so via a live stream here on Thursday, July 23rd at 1:30 PM.
