Paul Costa is a seasoned Human Resources professional with over 30 years of diverse experience as both an internal and external consultant. He possesses expertise in all functional areas of HR, including Employee and Labor Relations. Committed to broadening his skill set, Mr. Costa has gained valuable experience across various for-profit and non-profit industries, including healthcare, oil and gas, high-tech (hardware and software), logistics and distribution, and pharmaceuticals. This extensive background enables him to effectively navigate complex HR challenges with insight and adaptability, allowing him to quickly understand business needs and their corresponding HR requirements.

With a solid track record of fostering positive employee and labor-management relationships, Mr. Costa excels in mitigating workplace disputes and enhancing engagement, talent, and profitability. He is skilled at establishing rapport and credibility at all organizational levels and collaborates closely with executive teams to align HR initiatives with business objectives. In addition to his professional experience, Mr. Costa has taught at the college level at Holy Names College in Oakland and Saint Mary’s College in Moraga. He holds a B.A. from the University of California and an M.A. in Human Resources/Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco. Mr. Costa also possesses a U.S. Labor Relations Professional Certification from the H.R. Policy Association and is an active member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and a Life Member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
