EXPERIENCE
Chris Moores is an attorney representing employers and management in all areas of employment law. He has regularly defended both private and public employers appearing before state and federal courts, as well as administrative agencies, such as the Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the California Labor Commissioner’s Office, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Chris has also appeared before the Office of Administrative Hearings and the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board. In addition to his litigation practice, Chris also provides advice and counseling to employers on a wide variety of employment issues, including disability accommodation, wage and hour claims, meal and rest period compliance, retaliation claims, and whistleblower issues.
Prior to joining Sloan Sakai, he worked as an attorney at a Sacramento firm representing employers in labor and employment litigation. He also completed a one-year Civil Rights fellowship at the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing.
