Sloan Sakai Yeung & Wong is pleased to welcome Ian Appleyard as a consultant with the Management Strategies Group, the non-attorney division of Sloan Sakai. He joins the firm after serving as the Human Resources Director for the City of Oakland and, before that, the City of Emeryville, bringing many years of local government human resource management and labor relations experience. He has led complex, high-profile labor negotiations, investigations, and political strategies over his career.
